Job purpose

Tacony Corporation is seeking a candidate to work with on our Amazon Seller Central efforts to help grow our Home Floor Care division. The ideal candidate has great interpersonal skills along with strong business and technical acumen and is able to effectively work with teams from across the organization to achieve objectives. 

The Marketplace Account Based Manager will be responsible for driving sales, specifically with multiple Third-Party e-retail partners. In this role, responsibilities include account development, promotion, category management, product assortment and SKU monitoring/rationalization. Must be able to monitor online performance and analyze data to make adjustments and recommendations needed to increase revenue. A deep understanding of ecommerce businesses, platforms and marketplaces; inclusive of Amazon is required.  

Develop, plan, and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) plans to increase engagement and opportunity creation for targeted accounts. Conduct research on target accounts and partner with account management teams to enhance existing account plans to drive new and upsell business. Develop ABM metrics to measure performance of programs and to develop new tactics. Skills: SEM, familiarity with CRM's (Oracle, Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Hubspot) Requires a bachelors degree.

This position will collaborate across marketing channels and departments to drive a cohesive strategy to complement each brand through pricing, promotions, merchandising, etc.  In this position, you will focus on driving sales and margin through data, analyzing listing level performance and competitive data to uncover new market share opportunities and drive our business forward.  Creating compelling incentives, offers and messaging targeted to consumers through existing and new digital channels are all normal daily activities in this role.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop sales building programs at Amazon.com and other pure play e-retail partners across a portfolio of products.
  • Monitor and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, ratings and customer reviews.  Optimize listings through keyword research, obsessively monitor competition from within our category - deep understanding of Amazon SEO is a must.
  • Set up of all new items, promotional calendar development and implementation, post-performance and weekly analysis.
  • Oversee the tracking and analysis of third party e-Commerce sales and analytics.
  • Develop strong promotional strategies and unique product offerings to enhance presence on e-Commerce partner sites.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and digital agency to optimize key terms and banner ad performance.
  • Stay abreast of all changes to the Amazon platform - make sure Tacony is poised to benefit from any feature/product releases, and is perfectly compliant with Terms of Service.
  • Deliver top and bottom-line results for the channel.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years’ experience in e-Commerce Marketing and Sales
  • Broad knowledge of online and e-Commerce space and best-in-class third party providers, including Amazon.com platform and tools (vendor and seller central, AMS, A+ Pages), and a successful record of managing accounts and developing a category online.
  • Experience with web analytics packages such as Omniture, Coremetrics, or Google Analytics with ability to identify growth and optimization opportunities (including site traffic, conversion, spend, click-through rate etc.)
  • Experience using Amazon third party analytics tools to track MAP, MSRP, and category data such as 1010data and Helium10.
