National Accounts Sales Manager

Job Purpose

The National Accounts Sales Manager will act as a liaison between our sales team and our clients, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.  By utilizing excellent communication and negotiation skills, this role will be proactive in facilitating all details of the sales process, ultimately resulting in an overall increase in sales while maintaining client relationships at the highest possible standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage national accounts specific to a key vertical
  • Act as the point of contact for clients
  • Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements
  • Resolve problems and handle complaints in a timely manner
  • Identify new potential customers within the assigned vertical
  • Ensure budget and time requirements are met
  • Remain up-to-date with new features and product launches
  • Monitor and report on sales performance analytics
  • Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience

 

Qualifications / Education / Experience

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to understand clients’ needs and increase customer engagement
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven work experience as a National Account Sales executive
  • Specific equipment industry experience of 5+ years’ within the last 10 years
  • Travel 50 – 75% of the time; can live and travel from any major metro area
