Job purpose

The Key Account Sales Support Management, OEM is responsible for managing specific projects and ongoing relationships with a limited number of key OEM customers.  Ensures that the client maintains a high level of satisfaction with the services and products Tacony delivers.  This role is responsible to ensure the successful ongoing relationship with assigned clients by interfacing between product management, engineering, sales and operations to ensure delivery of commitments and products, identifying client needs and working with company resources to identify solutions to meet those needs. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • To act as primary point of contact with key strategic customers
  • Understand customer concerns and requirements and work with management to coordinate company’s internal departments to serve the customer’s needs
  • Develop rapport with the key associates within our customer’s organization to gain confidence and trust with you as an individual and our company
  • Develop relationships of trust and confidence with other managers within the company to allow you to work well with them as a team to accomplish agreed agendas with key customers
  • Fully and accurately document conversations, promises, requirements and all other aspects of our relationship with key customers
  • Process orders, create reports as needed, and help resolve client issues to resolution



  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • 5 years or greater experience in customer relationship management
  • 5 years or greater experience in managing projects involving external customers
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and project management software (Microsoft Project preferred)
  • Experience in leading cross functional teams
  • Have a basic technical knowledge of mechanical products (some technical education preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral; confident in interaction with senior stakeholders

Working conditions

  • Normal office environment
  • Some travel may be required
